Do Master Grade models need to be painted?

I want to buy a Master Grade gundam model, specifically the MG 1/100 ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam model. I’ve NEVER done modeling or painting before, but I really want this model. I realize I’m probably going to have to put it together, which doesn’t bother me, but I am wondering: will I have to paint it?
Or do the models come pre-painted with a sufficient amount of detail?

You don’t really have to paint it since the models do come pre-painted and they include stickers for the eyes and other mini parts. However, if you want your model to look exactly like the one on the cover of the box, you have no choice but to paint it.
