Money can not buy happiness, money buys freedom
And I ask you to use this freedom to love God!
Once upon a time, I was poor.
And proud of it.
I was a happy single missionary who did not think about the money, do not touch money, not save money and want nothing to do with money.
At that time, I really thought saving money was a lack of trust in God.
I also thought it was safe for the spiritually weak. "Jesus is my assurance that, "I tell everybody.
And entrepreneurs? Man, I pity them. I thought that their souls were on the brink of hell. Why Why? Imagine what they think of the day was the silver-instruments even the devil.
I repeat: I am poor and proud of it.
How poor? Before entering Jollibee, I had to first take out my wallet and count the amount of money he had. "I can buy a hamburger today? I remember when I had to turn around because my money (or coins!) Was not sufficient.
I am proud that I was poor, private, and suffering.
It made me feel somehow sacred.
Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, force-
And money too!
Today, my beliefs have changed dramatically.
And why criticize me.
For religious or less.
They say that teaching too much money.
"Bo, Why have you changed? "I asked," Now keep talking about savings and investments and business. Where is the sweet and simple man who can speak only of God and prayer and holiness and heaven? We want the boy back … "
Sorry, but you will not receive this kind of return.
Because God changed me.
Let me tell you why I changed: I decided to love more.
Do not get me wrong. Still preaching about God and prayer and holiness and heaven. (After all, money is only one of my many issues.) But in recent years, I was overwhelmed by the practical, down-to-earth, real needs God's people.
Here are the facts:
• Many good Christian families are buried in debt. They I can not sleep at night. They are terrified every time the phone rings.
• Many good Christian husbands are fighting both for reasons of money. (According to surveys, 50% of marital conflicts are money problems. One study even says it's 80%!)
* Many good Christians will retire without savings or investments and will be more and more poor people as they age.
* Many good Christians are living in poverty and their children suffer from poor health and poor education.
And that's why I changed: I want to help Christians get out of debt, solve their financial problems, and increased the blessings more financial support to help more people!
That is my commitment. It is my mission. It's my passion. (I do not care how many people criticize me for it.) I have dedicated my life to helping anyone suffering giving practical wisdom through my preaching and writing.
Whether spiritual emotionally or financially.
For many people,
Unless you have financial freedom
There is no freedom in real life
You know my history.
Because my beliefs have changed my life changed and financial.
"I can brag about? (Not to brag, but to emphasize a point.)
I'm not poor.
Now manage small businesses, earn through real estate investment funds and the stock market.
Now I'm able to help the poor, so I could not do before. And I am able to give more to the Ministry of the Lord for the financial blessings he gave me. I do not care only 10% of my income. Because my lifestyle has remained simple (no fancy cars, no big house), I can give much, much more than 10% to God. (Incidentally, I also learned that when I give, I get more. I invite you to give regularly the Lord's work. Join me in my ministry.)
Today, also I believe that holiness has nothing to do with rich or poor. Holiness has everything to do with love and we can do if you're poor or rich.
Money buys not happiness, money buys freedom.
Ill use that freedom in the wrong direction and be miserable as hell.
Good people will use this freedom in the right direction and be happy as heaven.
To be specifically, people of good will to use freedom to do good.
Simple as that.
I'll give you a small example of what I mean.
I am today without stopping at Jollibee counting my money.
And today, I can do anything I could barely: I now invite the poor a free lunch. Something that I'm happy.
In other words, my prayer has changed.
Before, my prayer was, "Lord, I need something to eat. Please give me the money. "
Today my prayer: "Lord, send me people who have nothing for lunch today and I want to be a blessing for them. "
Friends, I am using my freedom to love.
And after all these years to help as many people in their spiritual life, I reached a remarkable achievement, especially for children or parents according to their own, no can be no true freedom in life without financial freedom.
